As will become very obvious I am not an expert runner. In fact evening calling what I do "running" is probably pushing it a bit far which is why the blog is called Just Jogging.
I've been jogging for about 5 years on and off but it's only in the last 6 months or so that I've taken it even remotely seriously. I am doing a lot of reading, and trying to improve my speed and endurance, not easy to do when you are 50+.
I would like to say that, if you are over 50 and thinking about taking up jogging then I would seriously advise having a medical checkup first. It won't do any harm and you will have the reassurance of knowing it's OK to proceed.
